Nyambaria High School, a national school in Nyamira County, emerged top in the country in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations hence earning the prestigious tittle ‘Kenya One’. The good performance made the school community led by the administration, teachers, students alumni and government officials to organize for athanksgiving Sabbath to celebrate the excellent performance on 23rd February 2023. Out of 488 students who sat for the KCSE exams, 28 of them scored straight As, 383 students managed A-, 76 students got B+ while one student managed a B plain with a school mean of 10.89. The chief principal appreciated the education office, his colleagues, neighboring principals with whom they work together as they build the Kenyan child.

Kenya One tittle has put Nyambaria in the world map that has seen the population of the school skyrocket during 2023 form one admission attracting learners from all over the country and from across the East African Community.
